Implant-free
cryotherapy

CryoTherapeutics’ catheter-based cryotherapy technology is designed to stabilize vulnerable plaques by temporarily cooling the plaques to temperatures between -10 to -20 C.

The localized treatment aims to stabilize the vulnerable plaques by reducing inflammation and increasing the fibrous cap thickness, hence lowering the risk of rupture and preventing future MI.

Unlike traditional interventions such as stents or drug-coated balloons, this approach avoids implanting foreign materials or relying on long-term medical therapy.

To date, no companies offer a similar solution specifically targeting the local stabilization of VP.
